Follow the trip to Paris minute by minute
You can follow Team Rynkeby’s trip to Paris minute by minute. With the help of the Swedish GPS company, Axtech AB, we’re live tracking Team Rynkeby for the entire trip to Paris online.
You can follow from behind your monitor or your smartphone when the majority of Team Rynkeby’s 54 teams click into their pedals on Saturday, 29 June and head to Paris for the benefit of children with critical illnesses.
As in previous years, the charity cycling team will get help from the Swedish GPS company, Axtech AB, to live-track the entire trip to the French capital.
This means that friends and families and other interested parties can follow the 54 teams as they move through Europe minute by minute on a map on Team Rynkeby’s website.
“It’s a very popular technology that attracts many visitors to our website every year. I’m sure that it will be one of the most visited pages on our website during the trip, because friends and family at home can continuously monitor how far the team has reached. We’re very grateful for the close cooperation we have with Axtech,” says Carl Erik Dalbøge, director of the Team Rynkeby Foundation.
An impressive sight
At Axtech AB, Managing Director Åsa Eklund is pleased that the company can help Team Rynkeby to visually represent a little of the greatness of the charity cycling team.
“It is incredibly exciting to work with Team Rynkeby and follow the teams' journey down through Europe. It’s impressive to see how far away the 54 dots start from each other and how they slowly approach each other as the teams get closer to Paris. I have the deepest respect for the participants, who have prepared for this trip for 10 months and who have made such an indescribably huge effort for critically ill children and their families,” says Åsa Eklund.
The technology, which Team Rynkeby will use during the trip to Paris, was developed for transport companies and other organisations that need to manage large fleets.
The majority of Team Rynkeby’s 54 local teams will begin the trip to Paris on Saturday, 29 June 2019. All teams will arrive in Paris on 6 July.
